Michael Ulmer was raised in Texarkana, Texas. He began acting at a very young age in church and school plays and making films with his friends. He attended Redwater High School and then Doane College in Crete, Nebraska on a Track & Theatre scholarship. He went on to act in over 15 shows and won multiple acting awards during his collegiate career.
Since then he has modeled and appeared in commercials, television shows, and on stage. His feature film acting debut was in the horror movie Puppet Master X: Axis Rising as a Nazi soldier. Other acting credits include Empty Heart of War, The Impaler, and a lead role in the feature film Rumors of Wars as Captain Webb266. His Professional stage theatrical debut was in the regional premiere of The Explorers Club as Luigi.
After years of focusing on acting, he decided to step behind the camera for his solo sci-fi short film, Number 44.
